Folks,

Some time back I had downloaded NVU and KompoZer to check these out. Both
appeared to be pretty nice...KompoZer being the more updated version I believe
(it was a fork off of the NVU if I recall).

Alright...so one of my kids wants to put up a web page...kids are young, 9yo is
the one with the interest. I do run 'Web/2' on my home machine and intend to
toss this page on there as well. So as I'm looking at this I'm curious what are
the rest of you using?

KompoZer 0.7.10

and

NVU 1.0

are on my system, latest versions are 0.8b3 (2010-02-28) and 1.0 respectively.

Thanks!

I have never used any of them, but NVU is certainly dead, and KompoZer
looks like it stalled out 18 months ago. The author of NVU created
BlueGriffon:

There is an OS/2 build of an earlier version:
ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/mozilla/bluegriffon-1.1.1.en-US.os2.zip

I'm still using NVU 1.0. I'm aware that it's supposed to be obsolete,
but I wouldn't call an application dead just because it's no longer
being updated. I haven't yet found a bug that would require an update.
These days most Mozilla updates are bloat additions rather than bug fixes.

I've used Kompozer on Windows. It's not a lot different.
