I've restarted my machine not that long ago, and just like yesterday I
experienced that the menu text (File, Edit, Reload, ...) and/or icons
don't appear after loading a webpage. After starting SM again the
menus and icons appear again.

don't appear after loading a webpage. After starting SM again the
menus and icons appear again.

Try forcing a window redraw, resize or minimize and restore the window
and it should redraw correctly.
